Ashlawn Farm House

A 2021 sympathetic restoration of an early 18th century farm house in Lyme. For more in-depth look please visit their Instagram!

Our goal is to make this beautiful farmhouse conducive to modern day family living without losing the tone/the vibe. The changes are being done thoughtfully. We are uncovering and bringing back to life some parts of the house that were hidden for centuries. We are reinforcing sagging beams, reparing broken parts, and exposing the beauty of the past. The house has not had a major improvement since the 1840’s. We hope to bring it up to date while honoring the history. We think our ancestors who loved this land and this farm would be so proud of the care it is receiving.
